services

CP Accessible Document Services specialize in remediation and markup of documents that conform to the ADA and WCAG accessibility success criteria without leaving anyone behind. What do we mean? As time goes on, developers implement changes to software in advance of assistive technology and screen reader developers applying updates. We focus on making robust accessible documents that are compliant, in order, and work with new and old devices using remediation methods and semantic markup to make that happen. To us, accessible documents are more than just passing the accessibility checker—it's all aspects of the user experience for visual, keyboard only, visually impaired, blind, and other screen reader and disability users. Our services include:

Remediation & ADA Compliance

Not all PDFs are made the same. It depends on what the original source document was from which it was converted.

Our remediation service is wide ranging from making color compliant corrections to repairing damaged PDF files. Regardless of the condition or state of your PDF, you’ll receive an accessible tagged PDF that’s remediated, compliant, and optimized in the best working order possible. Also provided is the accessibility report that's generated by the Adobe Acrobat Accessibility Checker for validation and verification of ADA compliance.

With respect to accessibility and compliance, we conform to the ADA Section 508 and WCAG (such as 2.1 level AA) success criteria. Both standards are synonymous as the ADA directs us to follow the most current WCAG guidelines, which years ago, the W3C modeled after Section 508 and other nations disability agencies around the world.
